Using two of the most important genealogical collections available today, Ancestry Library Edition and HeritageQuest Online we will explore the historical and genealogical record of one of the U.S. Civil War's lesser known heroine's, Ms. Anna Ella Carroll. During the course this 60-minute webinar we will use both databases to highlight collections of historical documents from the Abraham Lincoln Papers, U.S. Census Collection, U.S. Serial Set, and others to show where and how to dive deeply into the historical record for evidence, clarification, and authentication when researching family and local history.
