H.W. Wilson Library Staff Development Grant

Deadline: December 1

An annual award consisting of $3,500 given to a library organization whose application demonstrates greatest merit for a program of staff development designed to further the goals and objectives of the library organization. For application guidelines visit www.ala.org.

Pepsi Refresh Project

Deadline: monthly

Individuals and organizations can apply for grants to benefit a variety of projects and site visitors vote for the best ideas for funding. Pepsi will fund projects that make a difference in six categories: Health, Arts & Culture, Food & Shelter, The Planet, Neighborhoods and Education. Simply submit an idea and get your supporters to vote— the projects with the highest number of votes each month win the grant. Grants are accepted for $5,000, $25,000, $50,000 or $250,000. SunnyD Book Spree

Deadline: ongoing

SunnyD is partnering with Martina McBride to give away books to schools and classrooms. Parents, students, and teachers are invited to collect and submit labels to earn books for their school. Complete rules and a starter kit can be found on the SunnyD Web site.
