Mango adds language courses and content
Popular language database, Mango, has added more content to 30 of its more than 60 language courses. Ten new chapters, the equivalent of more than 1,000 study hours, were added to courses including Hawaiian, German, French, Spanish (Latin American), English for Spanish speakers and many more.
In an effort to educate users and preserve languages, Mango has added a Specialty Languages section that includes instruction in Latin, Greek, Biblical Hebrew and Tuvan (from south central Siberia).
The Mango site has links to the mobile app for iOS and Android, so you can download and learn as you go!
Learning Express Library 3.0 has enhanced functionality, 2.0 retired
Learning Express Library, the practice exam and academic and career success e-resource, is now completely on the new 3.0 platform. The move requires all users to create new accounts. The old platform, 2.0, is no longer available. For more information about new platform features, see the February Cornerstone.
Mango, Learning Express Library and other e-resources are available from the Online Resources on the State Library website. They are directly available within the library and on school and academic campuses and available from home with barcode and password. Contact Julie Erickson, email email@example.com or Jane Healy, email firstname.lastname@example.org, State Library Electronic Services Coordinators, for more information.
